1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Site and placing an order you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Site or make a purchase.

2. Definitions

“Buyer”, “you”, or “customer” means the person or entity placing an order on the Site. “Products” refers to anti-tarnish and stainless steel jewellery and related items sold on the Site.

3. Orders & Acceptance

All orders placed on the Site are subject to acceptance by Shalaz.com. Once you place an order you will receive an order acknowledgment. Acceptance occurs when we dispatch the Products and provide a shipment confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspicious payment activity.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in INR and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay. By placing an order you represent that you have the legal right to use the chosen payment method. We do not store your card or UPI details on our servers.

In the event of a payment dispute, refunds will be handled per our Refund & Return Policy and the payment gateway’s procedures.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping times are estimates and may vary based on the delivery location, courier partner, or other circumstances beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners or for shipments to incorrect addresses provided by customers.

Risk of loss and title for Products passes to you upon delivery by the courier.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Our returns, refund and cancellation policies are described in the Refund & Return Policy page. Please review that policy carefully. In summary:

• Orders may be cancelled within the timeframe specified on the Site prior to dispatch.
• Damaged or defective items must be reported within the time period specified in our returns policy and may require supporting evidence (photos / unboxing video).
• We do not accept returns for used items or items returned without original packaging and tags unless faulty.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, designs and product descriptions — is the property of Shalaz.com or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that interferes with others’ use of the Site. Prohibited activities include attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Site, submitting false information, or uploading harmful content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shalaz.com and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or purchase of Products. Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the product giving rise to the claim.

10. Warranties

Products are provided “as is” and we make no express warranties except as provided in any separate warranty documentation. Where any statutory warranties apply (and cannot be excluded), our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.

12. Third-party Links & Services

We may include links to third-party websites, products, or services that are not owned or controlled by Shalaz.com. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties and disclaim all liability regarding them.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site or refuse service to anyone for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Termination does not relieve you of obligations accrued prior to termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kasaragod, Kerala, India (or other location if you prefer—tell me and I’ll update it).

We may amend these Terms at any time by posting updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
